Read Across America

 Brookside Elementary School, Fox Run Elementary School and Marvin Elementary School extended their celebration of Read Across America beyond the school day with a special evening event at Fox Run called “A Journey Through the Pages.”

This engaging family literacy night brought students and families together to explore the powerful connection between reading and digital literacy, putting the NPS K–12 Literacy Vision into action.

Fox Run’s Jodi Flom Nathanson partnered with her fellow library media specialists Audra Good of Brookside and Stephanie Deeb of Marvin to host the event, which emphasized that reading truly is a passport to countless adventures.

“The event helped strengthen the partnership between school and home while reinforcing that reading, creativity, and digital citizenship are important parts of our students’ learning,” Flom Nathanson said.
